Kids can be seen more times glued to their gadget’s screen than they are reading books. According to Huffingtonpost, some of the key findings in from a research cited from their article says a lot about how kids handle their technology. About 27 percent of screen time of children ages 0-8 years old is spent on things like smartphones, tablets, video games, etc. And the time they spend watching TV is more than the time they spend reading or being read to.
For that matter, it’s time that we pick someone who’s just as good as them in their own game, and adult who’s just as tech-savvy as they are. If we want our children to learn, maybe we need teachers who can not just cope with this new technology, but in fact master it. Mayvilyn Aguilar
